JD's 2025 Festival Schedule

EDC Las Vegas - May 16, 2025
One of EDMs most forefront leaders in production value and fastest growing festivals, EDC Las Vegas is an experience you should consider heading into 2025. The venue is located in the Las Vegas Speedway, highlighted by magical display of lights, experiences, rides, and interactive stages.

EDC Vegas boasts an astronomical attendance number at 400,000, so if you’re looking for something there, you will find it. The lineup is a never ending list of all your favorite artists and nearly impossible for you not to have a conflict. You have the option of camping onsite in a variety of ways. Or some rides-hare in from hotels in Las Vegas. Be mindful, your making a tradeoff between desert heat or long drive times in. Regardless of the path you choose, the experience offered is unlike no other. GA ticket prices start at XX. Recommendation: Camp & try this festival once. The mesa area of camp and afters can be an experience of their own.

Phone theft is very common here (4 of my 10 friends got jacked in 2024), so be sure to pack a ClutchLoop!

Bonaroo - DateXX

If you like a variety of music or simply want a playground to spend quality time with friends, you may want to consider what Bonaroo has to offer. Bonaroo takes place in the fields of Tennessee with XX attendees in 2024. You may be able to catch your favorite alternative artist during the day and head into a light filled EDM set in the evening. Most everyone camps at Bonaroo. This years lineup is: GA ticket prices start at: Recommendation: If you want to ease into the festival scene and get a full camping experience, or capitalize on a chance to see multiple of your favorite artists across genres, Bonaroo is a fest with great energy. Shambaylah - DateXX Held in Canada, many claim Shabaylah captures the magic of a pure, earthy, less commercialized experience.

Elements Music Festival - Pennsylvania - August X-X
Elements is unique in offering a blend of experiences akin to some of our favorites, so you will be able to find yourself easily. The owner is someone who prides himself on carrying out experiences and fun for all, a vision you can vividly see in motion when you have people randomly skydiving into a Lane 8 daytime set (2023). Elements takes place half in the forest, half outside, making for an Earthy experience. At Elements they play a healthy variety of EDM music with solid production. Most people camp for Elements, although there are many nearby Airbnb’s close to the venue you could opt into if looking for a quality bed, shower, and wifi. GA tickets start at: $XX Recommendation: Definitely see if you can squeeze this fest into your 2025 as the event is top notch in all categories that make a festival experience Can’t go wrong camping or renting with friends nearby!

Dancefestopia - Kansas City Missouri - XX date
If I got to choose a festival venue, accommodations, and lineup, Dancefestopia is what you would find. Seriously, where has this been all my life? Dancefestopia is a 5 day festivital located in the forest with ponds / lakes abound. A camping festival with the option to glamp or get a larger accomodation with a large group, focused on Earthy experience and endless headliners.
This year’s lineup is a bit bass heavy, yet any pallette can be satisfied.Many who have gone will tell you its an experience that needs to be on your radar. GA Prices start at:
Expected All In Cost: Recommendation: Take some time to relax and spend quality time with your closet pals at Dancefestopia. This one will be soup for the soul. Doesn’t get much cheaper than this especially considering the venue and stacked lineup.

Loooooost Lands! - Legend Valley Ohio- XX Date
A festival for you experienced and novice bassheads alike, I have to give Lost Lands credit for being one of the best organized and highest production experiences of the year. With about 40,000 attendees, you’ll be surrounded by both fellow bassheads and dinosaurs. Held part in a valley and the forest therein with all sorts of stages and bass artists alike. I will say, if you’re into house or other music, you can still find a good amount of bass house with bass artists getting to unleash their bass aliases. If you want a guaranteed quality experience, Lost Lands is among the best. Most camp and it is also possible to grab a hotel nearby the venue if you prefer to go this route.

EDC Orlando - Orlando - Date XX
See EDC Vegas, this time with some twists you may enjoy. EDC Vegas has sets running into the sunrise at 5am. While Orlando ends at 11pm and optional afters in the city. More heavily focused in the day time, you still get world class production value and an endless list of headliners. You’ll only have hotel option here as there is no camping. In my not so professional opinion, Orlando is a much different experience that is easier to dive into as rookie. There is no experience like an EDC Vegas night, but Orlando is the festivals best match without the harshness of camping in heat or adjusting the body to a nocturnal schedule (although those of you who are feral may do all the same at the Orlando afters). Recommendation: Orlando is a great substitute for Vegas if you are new, closer to the venue, or just plain want an awesome experience that is not as extreme. Again you’ll have to pack a ClutchLoop as this is one of the risker festivals in terms of phone theft.


To recap, and I’m just a mid level wook who loves spending time with his friends, you have plenty of solid major festivals to choose from this year. If you’re going for experience, Elements, Shambaylah, and Electric Forest are solid options. EDC Vegas and Orlando have lineups and production you have to see at some point making either a solid staple. Bonaroo and Electric Forest offer great varieties of music EDM and not, as well as excellent experiences for rookies and veterans alike. Dancefestopia and Lost Lands sound like the absolute dream this year for bassheads or those wanting a guaranteed well run and reliable festival.
